French delights at Diderot

I read about Diderot, a cosy place for French food and also organising cultural events in Prenzlauer Berg, and the next day I had to do a painful and very early medical test so I decided to treat myself with a nice breakfast and went there. The big breakfast for 1 person could be enough for 2, the brioche is amazing, tasty cheese, nice ham and bread and fruit salad and so. A French pastry chef organizes French brunches (buffet) every Sunday, from the photos she posted on Facebook, it looks amazing, I have to try this soon!

Cocktails at Salut! bar

I had heard so many good stuffs about Salut! in Schöneberg that I had to go see it for myself. The place is really nice, very original and cozy decoration, very friendly staff. The menu is really original, I had the March cocktail without the chick peas and it was delicious! Very refreshing. They also can make about anything you might want, I had a Cosmopolitan after that, they nailed it of course. The only bad thing is that it’s a smoking bar and you tend to smell it a lot.

Tapas @ Pan Amb Oli

Pan Amb Oli is a nice Mallorcan tapas place in Prenzlauer Berg. I went there on the recommandations of a friend. It’s a nice cosy place, very friendly staff and relatevely quick service. The menu is very appealling and hard to choose from. I had some serrano ham, potatoe gratin with manchego, salami cooked in whine and patatas bravas. All was very tasty, but very small portion (yes I know it’s tapas it’s supposed to be small) for the price. But still a very nice experience.
