My recommendations for tasty meals in Berlin

Persepolis, flavours of Persia

persepolisOne day, I got invited to try a Persian restaurant: Persepolis in Schöneberg, I have to admit that I did not know at all what to expect, not knowing the cuisine, I had a look at the menu online and saw there’d be some stuffs I eat (did I mention I’m very very picky? ^^) so I went.

The place is very nice, the staff quite friendly. I tried the Djudje Kabab, a skewer of lemon marinated chicken with safran rice, served with a small salat and flat bread. It was really tasty, all the other guests were also very happy with their meals. The only bad point is that I got my cocktail after getting my dish, we all ordered our drinks way before ordering the food, everyone got their drinks before their meal, so I was thirsty (had to order a bottle of water which has been served almost right away) and I could not toast with my friends. But other than that, it was quite a nice place.

Welcome on Around Berlin in 80 Restaurants, my compilation of good places to eat (and sometimes to drink too) in the German Capital. I am presenting only places I visited and liked, hopefully it could help some people out there looking for a tasty meal. From time to time, I'll share as well recipes and restaurant tips in places I visited.

  1. Hafis is very bad restaurant. Last night we were there. Food was very bad with low quality and so expensive. I had a bad exprience with Hafis.
