I am usually not really into Asian food but a friend organised a dinner at Van Anh, so I went, hoping to find something to my very picky taste.
It is located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, at the corner of Oderberger Straße and Kastanien Allee, a few hundred meters away from U Eberswalder Straße. The restaurant is nice and cosy, very friendly staff.
The menu is quite large and has stuffs for everyone, omnivores, vegetarians, vegans. I had a wonderful piece of grilled beef with some sesame and crispy sweet potatoes, excellent. Also tried their hibiscus cocktail, very fresh and tasty. My friends loved the salad and tuna and duck.
I did not know a lot about Vietnamese food and I was positively surprised.
