Some time ago, I took a long S-bahn and bus ride to go to Rudow, South of Neukölln, to go and try Hanabi. It’s a lovely Japanese restaurant recommanded by a friend who’s crazy about their Takoyaki, balls filled with octopus. I tested their skewers, beef, chicken and pork (they also have lamb), they were tasty, good sauce, and with a big bowl of rice in addition, I was fully satisfied. Some of us also had sushis and soups and were happy about it. The venue is small but cosy, very friendly staff and fair prices.
